| Country estate Boom en Bosch along the (Utrechtse) Vecht in Breukelen. The house was built in 1675. In 1711 it got the two side wings. With its sober, symmetrical construction, the Boom en Bosch estate seems a bit strict. Until 2011, Boom en Bosch functioned as the town hall of Breukelen. Nowadays it is possible to get married at this stylish location on the Vecht. The main building, the park, garden ornaments, a construction house and various fences have the status of national monument. | |
Buitenplaats Boom en Bosch langs de (Utrechtse) Vecht in Breukelen. In 1675 werd het huis gebouwd. In 1711 kreeg het de twee zijvleugels. Met zijn sobere, symmetrische bouw doet landgoed Boom en Bosch een beetje streng aan. Tot 2011 fungeerde Boom en Bosch als gemeentehuis van Breukelen. Tegenwoordig is het mogelijk om op deze stijlvolle locatie aan de Vecht te trouwen. Het hoofdgebouw, de parkaanleg, tuinsieraden, een bouwhuis en diverse hekken hebben de status rijksmonument. |
