Country estate Maartensdijk is located approximately 8 km northeast of Utrecht. This former doctor's house was designed and built in 1886 in an eclectic style by one of the ancestors of the Copijn family from Groenekan: Peter Copijn, son of the well-known garden architect Jan Copijn. The house has been inhabited by six doctors in succession since it was built. Around the turn of the century it was put into use as office space. Later an office/business premises was added to the rear. Nowadays it is mainly known as a meeting/conference location. The building (front house) has the status of municipal monument.

Buitenplaats Maartensdijk ligt zo'n 8 km ten noordoosten van Utrecht. Deze voormalige dokterswoning is ontworpen en gebouwd in 1886 in eclectische stijl door een van de voorouders van de familie Copijn uit Groenekan: Peter Copijn, zoon van de bekende tuinarchitect Jan Copijn. De woning is vanaf de bouw achtereenvolgens door zes artsen bewoond. Rond de eeuwwisseling is het als kantoorruimte in gebruik genomen. Later is een kantoor/bedrijfspand aan de achterzijde aangebouwd. Tegenwoordig maakt het vooral naam als vergader/congreslocatie. Het pand (voorhuis) heeft de status gemeentelijk monument.
