Casa Confetti, Uithof, Utrecht, Netherlands

Casa Confetti is the name of one of the more colorful buildings on Utrecht University campus De Uithof. The residential tower is 51 meters high, and has 15 floors. On top of the flat there is a roof terrace that is 600 square meters and provides a view of the surrounding area. There are 377 student residences in the tower. The design of Architectural Office Marlies Rohmer dates from 2005/2006. The building was completed in 2008.

Casa Confetti is de naam van een van de kleurrijkere gebouwen op het Utrechtse universiteitsterrein De Uithof. De woontoren is 51 meter hoog, en telt 15 verdiepingen. Boven op de flat bevindt zich een dakterras dat 600 vierkante meter groot is en een uitzicht over de wijde omgeving verschaft. In de toren bevinden zich 377 studentenwoningen. Het ontwerp van Architectenbureau Marlies Rohmer dateert van 2005/2006. In 2008 is het gebouw opgeleverd.
