| On the (Utrechtse) Vecht in Maarssen lies Buitenplaats Gansenhoef. The main building was built in 1655 in a sober Dutch-classical style, designed by architect Philip Vingboons. In the second half of the 19th century, the semi-circular arbor-shaped extension was built against the side wall. The building is privately inhabited and has the status of national monument. | |
Aan de (Utrechtse) Vecht in Maarssen ligt Buitenplaats Gansenhoef. Het hoofdgebouw is in 1655 gebouwd in sobere Hollands-classicistische stijl naar ontwerp van architect Philip Vingboons. In de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw is de halfronde prieelvormige uitbouw tegen de zijgevel gebouwd. Het pand wordt particulier bewoond en heeft de status rijksmonument. |
